DFDG is a small, dynamic architecture firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. While most of our projects are in the greater southeast Michigan region, DFDG projects are scattered across the United States and as far away as Greece and South Africa. Our Origins

DFDG was founded in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1992 by South African native, Damian Farrell. For over 30 years, Damian built his practice on exceptional design and exemplary service to clients, listening carefully to understand their motivations, dreams, and desires. Damian was a well-known and active figure in the Ann Arbor/southeast Michigan design community until his passing in February 2023.


Today, DFDG proudly carries on Damian’s legacy of client-focused practice and design advocacy.
